BENEFITS OF GREEK YOGURT:

1. They say meat has all the protein but in truth protein can be found in a variety of other things like Greek yogurt for example. A serving of Greek yogurt averages about 13-20 grams of protein. That is double the protein in a serving of regular yogurt and double the protein of a hardboiled egg.

2. Greek yogurt has about 50 percent less sodium than regular yogurt.

3. Avoiding carbs? Well, Greek yogurt is known to be low in carbohydrates which in turn makes it easier to digest.

And finally ladies, feed Greek yogurt to your skin!

This season, stock up on Greek yogurt. It is one of the cheapest and most effective ways to combat dry, winter skin. And it’s all natural! Without all the harsh chemicals and hard to pronounce ingredients we find in modern skin care. Greek yogurt contains lactose, vitamin B, calcium and potassium, all of which contain healing properties for healthier, more beautiful skin.

 DIY GREEK YOGURT FACE MASKS:

#1. Add a teaspoon of raw, organic honey to plain or Vanilla flavored Greek Yogurt. Mix and apply to face for 15-30 minutes for beautiful results. You can also put slices of cool cucumbers over your eyes to complete the experience. Rinse with warm water and apply your favorite moisturizer.
(For best results, melt the honey in the microwave for a few seconds, just so it’s slightly runny)

#2. Soak a tablespoon of oatmeal in hot water and add it to plain or Vanilla flavored Greek Yogurt. Mix and apply to face for about 15-30 minutes for beautiful results. You can also put slices of cool cucumbers over your eyes to complete the experience. Rinse with warm water and apply your favorite moisturizer.

Tips: You can also add a few drops of lemon juice if you want brighter skin or blend in blueberries or strawberries for additional antioxidants.

One cup of strawberries has only 43 calories and 13% of the RDA of dietary fiber. So if you are watching your weight and want something to munch on, choose strawberries.

#1.Mash together  8 strawberries and 3 tablespoons of raw honey, apply to face and neck  and relax for 15 minutes. You can also put slices of cool cucumbers over your eyes to complete the experience. Rinse with warm water and apply your favorite moisturizer.

#2.  Mash together 8 strawberries, 2 tablespoons raw honey, 1 tablespoon of your favorite oil and a few drops of fresh lemon juice. Apply to face and neck, turn on your favorite soundtrack and escape for 10 minutes. You can also put slices of cool cucumbers over your eyes to complete the experience. Rinse with warm water and apply your favorite moisturizer.

#3. Mash together 6 strawberries , 1 tablespoon plain yogurt or heavy cream if your skin is  and 2 teaspoons raw honey. You might want to start off by first mashing the strawberries and then adding the yogurt and honey. Apply the mixture to face and neck, turn on your favorite soundtrack and escape for 15 minutes. You can also put slices of cool cucumbers over your eyes to complete the experience. Rinse with warm water and apply your favorite moisturizer.

#4.  Mash together 6 strawberries, 1 tablespoon fresh milk, 1 tablespoon rice flour or cornstarch. Apply the mixture to face and neck. Turn on your favorite soundtrack and relax for 20 minutes. You can also put slices of cool cucumbers over your eyes to complete the experience. Rinse with warm water and apply your favorite moisturizer.
